The earliest memory I have of being an artist is from kindergarten. My teacher had us all post our art on the chalkboard for critiquing and amongst the bunnies colored purple and scribbled out of the lines, there was mine colored brown with short strokes that resembled fur. I remember thinking "I am different".
From then on I have received great encouragement from my family and friends to continue what makes me different and happy... my art.
